At the volleyball venue, I am reminded of the first time I was the newscaster, back in World Cup 2007.

As a newscaster, this was the first time I would be covering sports, and it was at the World Cup 2007 that I became aware of "the ticket to the Olympics".

That was half a year ago.

At last!

Fi-na-lly!

ARASHI's tour opened at Osaka.

However, I seem to feel differently about the opening, feel different from all the times before.

Long ago, my mom used to tell me this.

"A man cannot not know the way. A man who drives with the help of the GPS (car navigation device), is so uncool."

Well.

After this and that, I am now the official newscaster for Nihon Terebi (NTV)'s Beijing Olympics coverage.

I guess I started being aware of the Olympics, during the 2007 FiVB's Volleyball World Cup.
